People like Kathleen Davidson and Brandon Parker do not mix, that is why there is a literal separation between popular people like Brandon, and outsiders like Kat.

But, what if the two people who are least expected to spend time with each other are doing exactly that, spending time with each other. Not at school but at home.

When Brandon realises that high school isn’t just a place where you can fool around and do what you want to just because you’re popular, he decides he needs help to pick up his grades if he wants to get into the university of his choice, and who better to help him than the school’s nerd.

Kat doesn’t need any more trouble with the ‘it’ group as it is but when she accepts Brandon’s preposition and decides to help him things go from bad to worse.

Willows Dale’s queen bee, Madison Holt, decides that enough is enough and sets a plan in motion to destroy the budding friendship between Brandon and Kat.

The sarcastic nerd and the egotistic sex-god are flooded with a series of events that make the two do something completely unexpected...They grow closer until...Well, you'll have to find that out won't you?

Follow Kat through her adventure of falling in love, getting her heart broken, and learning a lesson that explains there is more to life than just being The Nerd.
