Lance has nightmares about his family back on earth, and whenever he needs to calm down from one he'll go to the control room and just sit. He'll stare at the stars and try to handle things all on his own. But one night, when a nightmare that topped all nightmares crashed into Lance's head, he wasn't able to calm himself. Damaged Beyond Repair
Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings. Keith, Hunk, Pidge, Shiro, Coran, and Allura are worried. With Keith stressing himself out over the wellbeing of his kidnapped friend, and Pidge looking all over for said friend, the paladins of Voltron are not on their best. **First Klance fic Lance and Keith were always neck and neck and rivals. They rarely spoke to each other and only knew things about each other that they told the whole team, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Coran and Allura. They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now. When the mission is near Earth, Lance gets extremely homesick. Maybe, they end up taking a visit... "Why would you think that?" "Ha," Keith let out a bitter laugh, "I'm half Galra. I share half of my DNA with a race who has killed countless civilizations, not to mention they kidnapped Shiro and Katie's family, and they-" "Exactly, "they". You didn't help them do any of that, right?" Lance touched Keith's forehead with his own, drinking in the feel of his soft skin. "N-No but-" "No "buts", you didn't choose to be born part Galra, and you have more than proved you're a paladin." "Allura and Coran hate me," Keith mumbled, trying to find some way to prove that they did indeed hate him. "No they don't, just give them some time to adjust," Keith turned around, pulling Lance's arm around him, "They have to get used to you. None of us hate you, not the smallest bit." Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths.
