The humans in this troubling time are rebels and defend what is left of the human population. Cahira Jones is the last Rogue, Which is half Machine and Half Human, basically a Cyborg. Her life changed at 12 when her parents were killed in the final wave of the Great Revolution caused by the conflict between Humans and Steelman. Now 64, and still holding the appearance of a 17 year old, Cahira Travels the Destroyed, forsaken land known as North America. Which was hit the hardest in the Revolution.

Cahira's Life changes again when she runs upon a barricaded human settlement, she then is taken prisoner and mistaken for an Illegal Transfer. While in her Imprisonment, she meets a boy named Brooks.

Unfortunately, Chaos only had about 200 soldiers so they came up with a technology to implant a chip in the nervous system and essentially control them. So basically, each solider could make a civilian a soldier and the civilian would be forced to fight and make soldiers of their own. The whole operation snowballed and everything went according to plan. Unlike in other stories, there is no hope and the only way to survive is though the CPO (citizen protection organization), created by Benjamin Franklin. It's a system of secret subway tunnels, used to evacuate civilians to safely. Out story begins on July 2, 2076 when the first bomb drops. Madalyn Grace and her friends are caught in this apocalypse and must find away to leave.
