"In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself."

"Life is like a dark tunnel. You may not always see the light at the end of the tunnel but if you keep moving, you will come to a better place."

"There are reasons why each of us are born. We have to find those reasons."

She knew she never belonged there. She knew she was different. She knew they were not her real family. It was all just wishful thinking.

After running away from the home she never had a place in, Lin fears that she has nowhere to escape to, all until she stumbles upon a very unique friend, a friend who can guide her, teach her and help her find her destiny and her purpose. She experiences and learns things she never knew could exist, and also finally finds the place she can call her home.

Lin sets off on an adventure, travelling though unknown lands, meeting new people, making new friends and finding her true family, but also soon becoming a strong support to those who need her.

Avatar: the Last Airbender Fanfiction Zuko x OC Makki is the twin sister of Sokka and the older sister of Katara. She is one of the last Southern water benders, along with her sister. At the age of ten, she lost her mother in a Fire Nation raid, right at the South Pole; all she has left is her mother's necklace, which Katara wears around her neck. After that, her father left to fight in the Hundred Year War, along with all the other grown warriors, and Makki and her siblings were put under the care of their Gran Gran. She grew up practicing her bending and helping Katara with all the chores, while their brother practiced his fighting skills and tried teaching the younger boys of their village. Makki's siblings followed their destiny of helping Aang master all four elements while Makki was stuck on a path with the Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh. After being betrayed by the prince, Makki joined her siblings on their journey of helping Aang. But soon enough, Zuko figures out that his destiny is to join with Aang's group and to teach him fire bending. In the beginning, Makki couldn't believe Zuko's change, but he promised himself that he would make it up to her and prove to her that he's truly changed and that he loves her. I do not own any of the artwork or story shown in this book (except for the story in Chapter Fourteen). I only own the original character Makki and her actions in the book. 11 parts Ongoing

At sixteen, Zuko had many realizations: 1. He would do anything for his people. 2. His father was not a man he wanted to be. 3. The Fire Nation and his father were not safe. In a reality where Zuko's Agni Kai happens later in life, he's mature enough to recognize its significance. Guided by the Sun Warrior Princess, he embarks on a mission of self-discovery. Zuko's journey leads him to marriage and fatherhood, but tragedy strikes when he loses his wife. Vowing to protect his daughter at all costs, Zuko's path is set on securing a safe future for her. Years later, a terrible storm throws Zuko and Katara into the sea, and they wash ashore together. Forced to form a truce, they set out on a journey to reunite with their families. Along the way, they discover that there is more to each other than meets the eye, forging an unexpected bond that could change their destinies. (Rewrite of Firefly)
