Life unexpected

Emma's life, simple has never been a word to describe it. For starters, her family (who is everything to her) has disowned her recently (for reasons that will be explained later). Her best friend/ boyfriend, wait no ex-boyfriend; well let's just say that before Emma went to college, they didn't leave things in good terms. Well anyways, even with all of that (and others not mentioned), Emma's life become even harder while trying to help her best friend (this is another friend, who is in fact a girl...) get a part in a big movie. What happens while she is trying to help her friend? What is going on with her family? Who is this guy and why are things not in good terms?
