"I want to sleep because I'm too annoyed be to awake" Rayden was just an annoyed, sleepy, and normal student whose life was pretty much normal. He plans to finish highschool, then finish college and pursue his dream of becoming a cop. But hey this ain't a happy story where everything is rainbow and sunshine. His life is far from normal considering that he can manipulate fire and his eyes changing colors, and he could set buildings ablaze, yeahhh its too far from normal. Also add the fact that some girl shrieked in the middle of his class. And that said girl has abilities similar to his but she's the chosen one or something. And apparently there's a big threat that would possibly wipe out those who have abilities, and they need to stop him. And that's just monday. Now he would need to form an alliance to her and her friends to stop this threat. Broken friendship would soon be repaired and new ones will rise. But whenever something rises, something must fall. Would Rayden become the hero he always sought to be? Or would he fall to his inner demons?.

ANY RELATION OF THE CHARACTERS OR SITUATIONS TO REAL LIFE ARE NOT INTENTIONAL AND ANY SIMILARITIES TO REAL LIFE ARE A RESULT OF COINCIDENCE* ---------- ""Mayuri, I don't want you to feel like you're ever alone," I couldn't tell, but I know X was holding his tears or something back. He was hiding something from me, but I couldn't tell what it was. "I don't want to hang up until you feel sleepy or want to rest. For as long as I've known you Mayuri, I know you hate being alone, especially if you're in the hospital. So, I made a promise to myself, that as long as you're awake, I'll stay awake with you, so you don't ever have to feel like you're all alone." ---------- What would it be like to be normal? What would it be like to not be scared to fall asleep at night and not be afraid to wake up? She has always wondered what it would be like to be someone else who wasn't in her shoes. Mayuri Crest has unfortunately developed narcolepsy at a young age and ever since then, her life has always been under constant surveillance, where people always pity her, but never really asked her about who she is. Her last year in high school though, she plans to make sure that she doesn't forget any of it. Mayuri plans to make her last year the best year she's ever had and finally, after the long, gruelling pain of alienated because of her conditions, both her medical and school wise, she would experience what it would be like to be like everyone else. ------- NOTE: There are possible trigger warnings in this novel e.g. suicidal thoughts.
