I watched her carry her large textbooks to her car and drive off, having no recollection of her neighbor watching her, everyday at exactly 8pm. I awaited for her return, I dreaded seeing her go. 

I wanted her all to myself.

He walked over to get a straw and while he was at the counter, my order was ready. "Emery!" The woman called and I hurriedly got up and received my drink. When he saw me he looked at me with a scowl.
