"Oh my god," I gasped with pure shock jolting through me, looking at him straight in the eye. "H-how...how could you? He needed that company to go on!"

Dan held my fierce stare for a second and then looked out his huge glass window that has a view over the city. "I had to. He was a threat to my own establishment-"

"That's no excuse!" I shouted. "He needed to support his family, and you took away his dreams and goals as well! Why couldn't you two just work together?"

The filthy rich man I've known since the first day of fifth grade, turned away from the window and looked at me. His face was strangely sour. "Stop being such a Magnanimous, fragile, and whiny woman. He'll find another job."

I turned away sharply and stalked to the door, my face burning. "And you need to stop being a Megalomaniac!" I yelled over my shoulder.
