Fifteen year old Aspen Ender wakes up to find her parents and brothers have been taken by the government of Tribeca. They were transported to the mainland where the men would be brainwashed and turned into Lazarians, and her mom would be experimented on then murdered. She only has a limited amount of time, and with the rebel group known as the defiance she has been sent on the journey with, and her sisters Poppy and Talia that were left behind. Aspen will uncover many things that her family has kept from her throughout this journey, and she might even find love. Or an enemy.
