Okay get ready to cringe. So this is a story I wrote about a year back for a commonwealth competition thing. I didn't get a place lmaooo but I was mentioned and I came 'highly commended' and I was well happy with that pahahaha. I read through this and I was wondering how on EARTH did this manage to get a mention but I thought I'd post it so you guys can hopefully notice the change in my writing when I write a few short stories in the coming future. Tell me in the comments if you can see a slight difference (I'm kinda hoping someone comments bc this story is terrible pahahaha)
Ps: I haven't changed ANYTHING on this story except I took out the word 'lowkey' bc I didn't think it was appropriate so please don't come for me bc it's bad pahaga. Also if you're EVER feeling like this then please, please talk to someone x

So I found a story like this online and was inspired to make a story like it but it's completely different so hope ya'll like! (CURRENTLY EDITING THIS STORY, ESPECIALLY CHANGING SOME OF THE CHARACTERS, THE STORYLINE AND THEIR NAMES SINCE ITS CRINGY AND I WAS REALLY YOUNG WHEN I WROTE THIS! NEVER MIND, THIS ENTIRE STORY IS CRINGE FACTOR! WHY DID Y'ALL LIKE THIS STORY SO MUCH?! THE STORY'S GOTTA CHANGE!) Also too, as part of re-editing everything (and I mean EVERYTHING), I'm gonna switch up the POV because I feel like everything would make more sense if I wrote it in Third Person since most of the chapters have a TP feel to them. And they need a revamp VERY. BADLY. I seriously don't know what I was thinking and deleted some of the chapters because I did not want that up here and I wanted a clean conscious. That's also why some of the comments won't make sense because I wrote this story very differently to how I'm writing it now. I'm not back 100% but I have to rewrite this story because of how atrocious and weird it has become. I changed the characters ages to 18 or older since that was one of the biggest problems with the original story and I know if some of you come back to read this as to why I'm rewriting this book instead of creating a new one is because I don't want to and it's already there. 9 Mile Season 1. Freshman Year
I started writing this my freshman year of high school, all the way back in 2004. I was fourteen. So obviously, the beginning kind of sucks. But I promise it gets better. I guess it's not really novel-esque, but hey, it's my story damn it and I dedicated my whole high school career to this thing. Yes,the names in this story are completely weird, but that is because the majority of the characters are actual people I know, myself included, therefore I have used code names, especially since not everything is true about these people. And also a lot of inside jokes, so if something does not make sense to you, that is probably why. Now I know I am not the best writer, as there have been a lot of pointless, and open story lines, but hey. This was all in good fun. And I am very proud of this story. At least some people think that it is interesting! And yes I have stolen a lot of storylines/quotes from Degrassi. That's because I was obsessed. I truly was. And yes, a lot of things are very unrealistic, but I have also edited the shit out of this story to get rid of some of the dumb stuff my young teenage self wrote.
