"But dear. It is oh so fun." His voice made me want to squirm in my skin. He bore those empty eye sockets into me and smiled. "And funny as hell."

"Jaaaaaack!" A wailing voice echoed around the black brick walls surrounding us. "Wee need yoou!" A two-faced, very fat and short guy ran up to us. Literally, one side of his face was white and the other pale. They kept turning to switch the face his mood matched.

With sudden realization, I felt myself sinking back into unconsciousness. I was falling backward, hearing the girl say "Guys she's going to-" but I hit the ground before they could catch me. My last coherent thought was:

I'm in Halloween Town.

Skia (pronounced Sky-uh) is a typical 16 year old. Always complaining about school and chores and everything else. Moody, always on her phone, and almost never doing her homework, just sliding in and out of school with B's and C's. Her red curly hair made her hazel eyes and freckles pop. She has many friends, but only a few she knows she can trust. Skia also lost her mother when she was 8. Motherless, carefree, and an annoying teenager. Can one trip to a world she thought she could visit only in her dreams change her point of view on the world?

Liz picks it up for the business, but it ends up being stored in their home, where Nat notices strange things occurring. She quickly discovers the past residents had died violently. Then she hears from a friend about the myth of "the devil's dog", a hound that perches in the shadows, tearing families apart from the inside.
