Hazel's life has always been complicated. Her parents keep secrets from her, secrets the could destroy the world. Her life was quite terrible, until one day she was playing on the slide. The four year-old had no friends at the time. A boy the same age as her, with light brown hair, asked if she'd like to play with him. These two go on many adventures throughout their lives, but none as crazy as this.

I was standing in the middle of the fire, whispering to the fire that always answered. Letting it grow and dance the way it wanted to. It was weird to have all of this fire around you and not have it burn or touch your fragile skin. With each match and whisper the fire grew, but yells found my ears.
