When you find out your expecting your first bundle of joy, you are immediately given leaflets, books, and links to websites so you can go home and prepare for parent hood. Images of knitted booties, giggling babies, day trips, and coffee mornings with other mums whilst singing pat a cake with your adoring child flood your mind. You eagerly await the birth then your world is turned upside down. Everything you prepared for goes out of the window as you become a parent, the baby part is easy, but what happens when they grow up? From awkward toilet trips, stolen bananas, tantrums in supermarkets and lazy pre teens, here I shall share the parts that they don't tell you about before having children, as quite frankly, if we all knew what it was really like first, I doubt the human race would still exist!

3 sides to every story Yours. Mines. And the truth I act like everything is fine. I laugh at people's jokes, I do stupid shit with my friends and I act like I have a carefree life. It's funny though. When I come back home, I just turn off that mental switch then suddenly I break down. I feel alone, empty, worthless, tired, I can't exactly describe how I feel in two words. It's like I have two different me's. One for the public and one for myself. Only if they knew what happens behind closed doors..
