I never really did understand what my parents were talking about. The woman was in front of all the junior high leveled kids that had just graduated eighth grade three months ago. It was time to figure out where we were going. The deal decided our fate. It decided everyone's fate. "The deal chooses your fate," the woman smiles at us "I know it sounds weird but this is how our society works." "We help you not go through things you can't handle." She smiles in front of us. I looked down at the computer I was at and looked at a girl next to me. "We will choose everything for you don't worry.." She smiles at all of us calmly. If only I felt the way she did I would be fine. This is my life I have to worry about... "You may begin!" She chirps I click the mouse

"Is it still a no?" He asked, his voice was deep yet soft at the same time. "Hard and cold." "Oh, come on, Lou! Live a little. I can be your tour guide and show you around town. It'll be fun!" "And why not after school or in the weekend?" "Because there's no thrill to it. Please, Louisa." He asked again. I sighed. "What's in it for me, Liam?" He chuckled. "You get to spend time with me! Liam Gilbert, your tour guide, the guy you come to when you don't want to study!" "Let's make a deal," I smirked, "if I ditch with you then you have to study with me." He looked unsure and I knew he didn't want to. I shrugged. "Okay, I'll see you at home." He moaned. "Fine, but you have to ditch me right now." My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I was truly surprised. "Okay, let's go." * There are a few rules when it comes to ditching class. Rule number one: Don't tell anyone. The teachers, your siblings, your parents. Rule number two: If anybody asks where you were, always say you were sick and rule number three is to have fun. Louisa Shepard didn't know what she was getting into when she agreed to ditch school with Liam Gilbert, her host brother. She had the perfect attendance record, she studied in her spare time and she never missed a class a day in her life. Until she went to America in exchange and met Liam, the guy she could not get away from. Liam did not care about school. He ditched most days, slept in, never studied for anything and his attendance record wasn't exactly great. When Liam finds out that Louisa, the British good girl, was the perfect student, he wanted to have some fun. But, there comes a price. If Liam wanted Louisa to ditch school then he would have to study with her. Louisa had no idea what she was in for when ditching with Liam and some days, it goes further than just ditching class. Louisa and Liam are just going to have to go the distance if they want to keep up with each other. All Rights Reserved 2017 © Sarahxox_16
