𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐎 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐍 𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐎 is a partially retired cartel leader. Partially because he spends most of his time running a five-star restaurant called 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐑. 𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐎 finds himself in an altercation that has him attending therapy sessions. 𝐋𝐄'𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐈 𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝐉𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 is an autistic, bulimic therapist. And although those words don't go hand in hand that's what she is. Despite being the best therapist in Chicago, all she really wants is love. When the two meet worlds collide, will they build each other up and break each other down. Unhinged and bulimic don't go together. Or do they? sneak peaks- "I'll stay." "I don't care." "If you give me your number." "I'm your therapist." "So?" --

TRAPPED IN HIS EYES
Nobody ever thinks their life will shatter in an instant-until it does. Not at first. You wake up, you go through the motions, and you trust the people around you. You laugh, you cry, you love. You never stop to wonder if the hands you hold today will be the same ones that destroy you tomorrow. I never did. I never questioned the warmth in his smile, the strength in his presence, the way he stood by my side like a shadow I could always rely on. I thought I had finally found someone who understood me, someone who didn't see me as an outsider. Someone I called a brother. But trust is a dangerous thing. It blinds you.
