Have you ever daydreamed? You just sit there, thinking of another place that you have made in your imagination? That's what I do, but it's everyday, all the time. My name is Skylar Blue, and I have maladaptive daydreaming, and it may cause my world to crumble.

The story revolves around a girl who suffers from mental illnesses and among those is maladaptive daydreaming. At first, there was no implications with it, she doesn't have a problem with it and so does her therapist as she uses it as a coping mechanism. However, an unexpected interaction happened and it changed the course of her life. This occurrence started affecting her life and relationship; she's finally seeing the negative effects. Her fantasy and reality began coinciding and she started having a hard time identifying which is which.
