Blake lives in two different houses and is split between his two parents. Because of the break up of his parents, he has to transfer to a different school, sadly being a rundown high school packed with bullies, weirdos, and edgy fucks like himself. Overcome with stress and hate, Blake marks his skin with a razor for the first time, finding it to be additcive as it took away the pain. Eventually slipping into depression, Blake is worn down and broken, unable to be fixed. Until one day, a new student transfers to the school and always seems to be staring at Blake, making him feel awkward. One day, the student approaches Blake after having built up confidence and turns into Blake's best friend. Blake soon finds himself having feelings for his friend, stronger than friendship could be. Blake worriedly writes his friend a note and leaves it in his friend's locker, only for him to confront him the next morning and tell Blake about his feelings. Blake will either ruin their friendship by taking it to the next level, or be crushed by the strong force of rejected love.

This isn't your run of the mill love story. Where maybe a couple conflicts but all these lucky things happen. Sure there will be love but at what cost? Would you go through all this just for love, or would you give up half way. In a school with things like drug dealers, bullies, and a bunch of other shit will he be able to survive in this school. He says, patting my arm as he stuffed another cracker in his mouth. "It takes some real balls to come out to someone." He says, his beautiful green eyes blazing into mine. I felt myself become flustered at his gaze. "Uh, Yeah, Thanks." I stumbled out, "You're not mad?" I ask. His expression turns to hurt as he crinkles his eyebrows. "Why the hell would I be mad?" He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out.
