Aerin is the only human at her new school, Rosedale Academy. Being human in a world of magic, she is flung into a world of school politics, power struggles and an education based around questionable, magic based morals. 

If this wasn't difficult enough, her flatmate is the infamous Casper Castel. If Aerin is like the sun that shares her kindness and happiness with everyone, Casper is the moon that reflects it. If Aerin is a new sapling in a forest, Casper is the spark that ignites the forest fire. 

And if Aerin is the one that will bring a new era to this traditional academy, Casper is her catalyst.
