And maybe it was another thing to get stuck in an elevator with an arrogant college student when the power goes out due to a snowstorm -- but all of that together was more than just a "thing". It was a bad day raised to the fourth power.

Winter was not the time for everyone. Especially not for Holly, who was snowed in her college building. To her bad luck, she had decided to leave for home on the twenty-first, unlike her friends, when a snowstorm had suddenly hit town. She had cursed mother nature's name. All she had wanted to do was get home as late as possible to shorten the time she would have to spend with her mom and stepdad... but now, she would never get to her destination in time. According to the news, the snowstorm would last days, the consequences might even weeks. And being the only one in her college building could become very lonely... but maybe she wouldn't be as alone as she had expected. Finals and school were done for awhile and Hermione was gearing up for a trip of a life time to Iceland. She was heading to the airport and was reading to kiss California goodbye. Boarding her plane she found her seat and was ready to take off until Niall the mega superstar walked onto the plane and sat next to her. Everything was going great her favorite singer was sitting next to her and they were having a decent conversation, she was ready to explore Iceland but then a big snow storm hit and all planes were cancelled and her layover in Boston was now a long term stay and the worst part was it was unsafe to leave the airport because of how bad the storm was.
