Shadow was killed at the age of 13 in front of her family by Purple Guy. Her family was also killed but she was the only one who had a pure enough soul to stick around. That's when Foxy found her. He brought her to marionette and she was given a animatronic body. Now she is known as Shadow.
As years go along Shadow finds herself having a huge crush on foxy and he same.
