Delirium

How did we expect planet Earth to end up after centuries of abuse? Now the air itself is attacking us.
Post evacuation: Only one third of the population still exists on Earth. At least that is what the news kept blaring before the televisions stopped broadcasting.
The rich and important were evacuated first. Then the women and children. The remainder of us were left to suffer through the tortures of the world around us and the tortures of our own minds.
This is where my family's story begins.
What will some of those that were evacuated think about leaving their loved ones behind? What will those on Earth do to save what is left of themselves and see their loved ones again?
Anything can happen when one world comes to an end and another begins.
