Hikoto is a boy who lost his family after an unknown attack. He now lives in Konoha and plans to take revenge on whatever killed his family, but first he has to go through the path of a ninja and become the best of the best. His aim to defeat the creature of the past will have to wait though, for he has many different factors that get in the way of his goal, including his idiotic teammate Tsunami Korozuki, his female teammate Sakurai Shima, and his team leader, Tepa Shima.
