Kaya Ellison is a 16 year old girl with a big family. So big in fact that there isn't a place for her. After her parents murder when she was 11 she has bounced around from relative to relative, finally coming to live with her Gramm in Hawaii. When her and her friends get shipwrecked on a mysterious island, it's up to them to unravel its secrets, secrets that should probably stay hidden, in order to get home. Will they survive the island? Will they finally meet a challenge even they can't face? Or will Kaya find out that she's more than meets the eye?
