He sat there, alone in the corner of his room. Specks of light fought to get in through the curtains. His hair was a mess, dark circles hung around his once bright blue eyes.

He looked around the room blankly, no emotions ran across his face. Nothing. He was just blank with large spaces.

"Brian! Stop it!" Her laughter erupted from nowhere. He looked around cautiously. Nothing. The clock ticked silently, his eyes drifted to it for a moment & then he buried his face in his palms.




This is basically a short story behind One Direction's song 'Moments'. It's a really beautiful song written by Ed Sheeran, that touched me and as well as made me write this story. It's just the interpretation of the song with my ideas & those who haven't still heard the song I reccomend it highly..All Rights Reserved

This is a concept I came up with one night when I was driving home and listening to Ed Sheeran's album Plus. I thought about how it would be cool to use one or two lines from a song that he wrote in a letter to a person that I wrote. As soon as I got home, I sat down with my laptop and started writing the first two letters. I picked one line that I liked from each song and wrote a letter based on the emotion of that line, not necessarily on the topic of the whole song. Some of the letters are autobiographical, some are pure fiction. I'm almost done with the album and I'm currently thinking about doing the same thing with Multiply. *UndergoingExtremeEditing* It's been 7 months since my parents funeral and my life is rubbish, i work in Starbucks, i have a shabby flat and my boyfriend was cheating on me, great huh, pft note the sarcasm. So now i guess I'm single and lonely. I had just finished my shift when i was walking through the cold streets of London at 8pm, my phone started ringing, i didn't notice the number on my phone but i still answered. "Hello?" I said into the phone, shoving my free hand into my coat pocket. "Hello, Miss Jordon, right?" The voice replied. "Um yes" i answered back. "Great! Its Simon Cowell, from SYCO records. I received your demo and i want you in the studio as soon as." His voice beamed through the phone, i was speechless OMG SIMON FREAKING COWELL! "Err Umm, thats amazing news, sorry im still in awe." I chuckled nervously, "Don't be nervous, write a song by next month and bring it to the studio on the 15th of March please. Be at the studio 9am sharp, oh and don't be late, i'll send you details and where abouts to go." He explained. "Thats great thanks so much Si...i mean Mr Cowell." I replied. He chuckled lightly "Goodbye." He said before hanging up. WOW i have to write a song for Simon Cowell. AHHHH right now my insides are on fire i want to scream with excitement but clearly i would get funny looks.

I felt tingles in my feet and arms and struggled to even open my eyes it felt like they were stuck down with super glue. I tried to open my eyes and finally seceded, my vision was all blurry from being passed out and crying. I blinked a couple of times to gain my original eyesight back. I stood up and a big shoot of pain went down my spine.
