I could tell you a story of a family, reunited once more, living on the surface world. But such a story has not come to pass, nor do I know how such a story would come to pass. So I will not tell that story. I could tell you the story of how I came to be here, stuck in the black depths of nothingness. But, I have the distinct sense that this story has already been told, by hands not my own. So I will not tell that story. I could tell you a forgotten story. A story of a name long gone, a time erased eternities ago. ... Yes, this one, I think, is the story I will tell. For the name that was once my own, the name that has been lost to the Void, that is a name to remember. Dr. WD Gaster is a Name to Remember.

There's something wrong with the timeline. You've lived in an underground crypt with cracked green walls for as long as you can remember. And that's entirely the problem, you can only remember so much. Even as tortures and experiments continue without end, you're plagued with nightmares and glimpses into a different life, a life outside the green walls that you've been trapped inside for your entire life. There's a demon in the lab. Somewhere, you're sure of it, the scientist whom you have learned to hate is keeping a secret, another human besides yourself locked away. You don't know why or how they're connected to you, only that their name is Kris and they might be the answer to everything. There's something wrong with the timeline. And the whole universe might be thrown into chaos and bloodshed before you can fix it.

Written: May 10th, 2017--June 22nd, 2017 reposted from my AO3, anonemones; contains both part one and part two. After a year of living on the surface, monsters and humans have gotten along well, with (mostly) everyone adjusting to the many changes without much trouble. However, events take a strange turn when Sans and Papyrus--both of whom have been acting unlike themselves--go missing, supposedly without a trace. In their place are two monsters who go by the names of Wingdings and Aster, twins, claiming to be the lost Royal Scientist. Everyone is thrown for a loop, especially as nobody remembers a Wingdings or Aster--or, as they claim to be, "Dr. Gaster"--nor do they remember a Royal Scientist before Alphys. And with Sans and Papyrus missing, things don't look good for either of the boys. As their friends search for the missing skeletons, Wingdings and Aster work together to uncover what's happened while they were gone, as well as what might've caused everyone to forget them in the first place. But, trouble lurks within the shadows, as the Void closes in on them once again--refusing to let go of what belongs to it. And unfortunately, the Void is not the only thing after the boys' lives.

My Greatest Experiment (Skelebros' Origin Story), de ZanaBSparrows

After much research and theorizing, I've decided that I'm going to attempt it. It's risky, but I'm so desperate at this point that I'm willing to put my own well being on the line. If I survive, this may just turn out to be very... interesting. This is my thoughts on the origins of Sans and Papyrus, as well as their connection to Gaster.
