Everyone always rushes towards adventure and wonders... But doesn't anyone just stop for something simple?

Newt Scamander always seemed to get into trouble. No matter how hard he tried to change wizards and witches thoughts on creatures, befriend them, and consider that it is simply instinct; he just couldn't change anyone's mind. Sure, Dumbledore states that he likes him for his open heart... But what's that matter if it doesn't protect the creatures? Each time he enters Hogwarts it's as if he were a magnet and the creatures were stray pieces of metal laying on a table. He truly tried to stay out of trouble, he did, but nothing would push him towards suspension more then the creature named Willow.

Harry Potter is about to go to Hogwarts and everyone is getting riled up, booking hotels a week in advance of his birthday, just to catch a glimpse of him shopping for his school supplies. Harry however does not wish to be the little unknowing child they all think he'll be, leaving them all in shock as he heads through life with his head held high and a supporting family by his side. In this story Harry is smart, the Dursleys are nice and mischievous, loving pranks. He does not end up in Gryffindor, and already knows about the magical world.

Rewritten History
Whenever Harry does something drastic, he always ends up in a strange situation. Warnings: Harry was never in love with Ginny (They were only very good friends), blood and violence at some part in the story. Harry a bit out-of-character. It follows pretty much the books, except for the Harry and Ginny-love, some minor details and the ending battle (lots of character-death there). Severus Snape's life-history is different. And this is a time-travel story. Did I get everything now? Probably not, but who cares? You'll find out soon enough.Complete
