Lucy, Alex, Macy, and Janessa have been friends since the beginning of middle school when they were put together to work on a project. Since it was middle school, none of the other three knew about Xavier, Lucy's childhood best friend.
Xavier used to live two streets down from Lucy, and they had so much fun together as children. But then Xavier moved. Lucy erased all thoughts of him away, and no one else knew. Not even her three closest friends.
It's close to the summer of junior year, and the four of them have been chosen along with thirty other kids in their grade to go on a school trip for a month. To Venice.
The friends are enjoying their time in Venice when they stumble upon two rival dance gangs in a battle. The leader of the first gang? Xavier.
While Lucy tries to avoid seeing him again, her friends really enjoy watching the dancing, so they encounter him again. He begs Lucy for help in defeating the other gang.
She doesn't know what he means, until he reveals who he truly is to them. She, along with the rest of her group, decide to help Xavier.
But at what cost? Battling feelings and drama as well as vampires and werewolves, the girls must find a way to make it all stop. But how different are they all? In the end, everyone has a little human in them. Don't they?
