Damien is a special vampire, one who sucks the blood of others of his own kind. He falls in love with Victoria also, and as time goes on within the castle gates, problems are caused, friends and enemies are encountered, and decisions must be made.

He doesn't say anything in return, just keeps down the road in the opposite direction of my home, "Okay, fine! If you want to take me, and I be the best woman you've ever held hostage... I need my dog." Think! Think! That got his attention. A horrid about of alcohol is in my system causing me to sprout idiotic ideas. I mean, what if the vampires eat dogs, "You'll be a good girl if I get your dog?" "On a vampires blood promise." I make an 'x' on my heart. It's an oath most in this world don't take lightly, "Just for you." "How ironic." But the weirdly formal looking attired man turned down a familiar road heading back towards my apartment. I never gave him the address, nor was I able to stay awake long enough to greet my little angel, but her nose bops in greeting were enough to tell me she's safe while I dozed back off in the care of a duke. ~ 18+
