"Hi there Mr. Connery?" I say examining my clipboard.  

"Yes." He responded. 

I could hear something in his voice. He didn't sound like the other patients at this facility. He sounded... stronger.  I finally look up from my clipboard and meet the most gorgeous pair of grey eyes I have ever seen. His perfectly flowing hair reaches just about his eyebrows. He has a gorgeous smile showing off these perfect teeth. If I just saw him on the street the last thing I would think was that he had cancer. He looked so happy, so perfect, so alive.  

"I'm Destiny Smith, but you can just call me Destiny. I'm your new nurse. Ms. Winters got put on leave for a while so I will be taking over," I say reaching out to shake his hand. He took my hand in his and I instantly felt sparks. He brought my hand up to his lips and planted a soft kiss on the back of it. My heart jumped in my chest.  

"That's a beautiful name Destiny. You can just call me Grant." He said with his winning smile still holding my hand... This man will be the death of me . . .
