This is the end. After 5 years of writing and releasing poetry, it's time for us to end on a good note. I have been writing this collection for a few months and I'm so proud of what has come from it. I named this "Riley" because this is that Cinderella shoe, it finally fits. I have a lot of inspiration from 80's music like Cyndi Lauper, Whitney Houston, and even Cher. It's a collection of pride, love, and happiness, something that has allowed us all to come full circle. So many thank you's I want to give but I'm just going to thank everyone as a whole. Words of life
This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear! (And many more chapters, about everything you could think of) And maybe you know all of this already, and it glads me to hear. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism.
