This is a collection that includes several fables inspired by the style of La Fontaine, as well as chapters recounting the life of the fabulist, Célestin de La Source. Dive into the heart of a France set between the 17th and 18th parallels. Cautiously explore the lives of these characters and uncover their secrets. Enjoy the amusing and entertaining stories that are also told within. Or perhaps there lies a deeper truth behind these seemingly simple and childlike fables? "My life is but a web woven of lies, with only forbidden love at its core." ______________________________ (Over) NDA : I apologize in advance for any spelling or grammatical errors. I also apologize if the fables are not exactly correct, as I originally wrote them in French and had to rework them myself to keep the rhymes. Sorry if my English is bad. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, the characters are all on formal terms with each other. Because i know in english you can't really differentiate the "tu" and the "vous" so i precise this one. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT, you can't read only the fables or the chapters, the two of them are intertwined with each other and retrace the life of the fabulist. Thank you.
