**First Klance fic Lance and Keith were always neck and neck and rivals. They rarely spoke to each other and only knew things about each other that they told the whole team, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Coran and Allura. They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now. Keith Kogane is a college student who can transform into a purple creature at will- which includes fluffy ears and large, feathered wings. He struggles to keep it a secret, as purple feathers are hard to hide in the snow. Then Lance comes. But, over time they grow closer, and Keith's secret also becomes harder to hide.
