Naila Nightcross has been having a very bad summer, and will soon have to return to Hogwarts until Christmas. Her and her best friend, Grace Appleshade, have been waiting months for their Parabatai Ceremony, with no progress. She is only now learning that she isn't Valentine's only experiment, though she is by-far his favorite. And her new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher just so happens to be a werewolf.
