BOSS is an independent spy corporation that teenage agent Decklynn Carter happens to work for. But when the company is compromised and an agent allegedly goes MIA, Decklynn and her new partner, Zander, are forced out on a mission together. When they are battling enemies they don't even know exist, this could prove to be a life-threatening fight.
What is more, Decklynn must try to work through her growing feelings for Zander, and prove that they can function as a solid team - working for the greater good. Ultimately, the question is whether or not they can win this fight without anybody else on their side. The teenage agents believe they can, even if it means being willing to give it everything they've got.

❝Maybe it's not just life that is like a chess game. Maybe love is too. Like how the king is always afraid losing his queen, and how the queen does everything in her power to save her king.❞ - Think of life as a chess game. There are the Kings and the Queens ; who serve as the rightful leaders. There are the Knights and the Bishops ; the hunters and the wise. And then there's Rayne Parker, a valuable pawn playing a game of live or die, being at the same time in no control of his own life. Being a pawn means not being in charge, means following the rules and obeying the moves of the 'player'. That was the ISAA. They were the 'players' in this injustice game of chess. They controlled Rayne's every move. If he made a bad move, someone else would suffer as a consequence of his actions. And he hated every second of being the cause of someone's death. In order to save himself, he would have to make a right move. The divine move that would allow him to checkmate ISAA and win. [completed ✓ || in the state of editing✗]
