The year is 3169, 1153 years after a nuclear fallout devastated what used to be North America. The fallout opened a rift in the earth through which animal-like spirits called Remnants stepped into the light. In order to survive the near-constant onslaught of human survivors' attacks, the most pure of Remnants, known as Auras, fused with human hosts and spread from human to human in the same manner as a contagious disease-through contact with bodily fluids of one of the hybrids. These hybrids became known as Afflicted, and are characterized by their immortality, the supernatural powers they possess, and the powerful spirtiual entities residing within them.
Avery "Distance" Anderson stumbles across an Afflicted named Hitashi Tsubasa, who has no memory of who he is or where he came from. Through a series of escalating events, Distance is thrown into the world of Remnants, Auras and Afflicted. As Distance is drawn deeper and deeper into their world, he comes to realize that the immortal bodies and supernatural abilities he considers fascinating and amazing are more of a hex than a blessing to their owners.

This is my take on those stories that have only one human male on a planet full of anthros. You know the ones, where a nuke, virus, or/and war that destroyed the human race except for one and for some unexplain reason ten years later furries rule the earth with a fully functioning government and technology. Oh, and sometimes this human has all the powers of comics and mange for also unexplained reason or another. With every character is spelled out on these bio picks before you even read the story, ruining any suspension or mystery the story could have. Sorry, went on a little rant but I have a hard time reading those kinds of stories, so I decided to make my own. So the actual story; A human crash landed onto a alien world where the dominant species are ten feet tall female wolves. Now he have to survive this warrior world that seeks to use him or destroy him, but under his meek facade is something much more then any one could imagine. Hope you enjoy.

Uneasy Comfort.
So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . . The story is about a a hitman, Who dies because of his own recklessness and transmigrates into a game he used to play after his retirement as a hitman. Nope, he'll become strong over time and all battle he'll fight will be because of his effort and techniques. Is there magic and adventure? Yes! It have both magic like normal isekai with adventure and fighting with monsters and many other things. There are other important things like "Essence Stone" But let's talk about it in the chapters.
