Chasing Cate

Cate formally known as Catie-Ann, is in search for something, but she doesn’t know what. She just knows that what she has been looking for the last 21 years, she still hasn’t found it. 21 years of her life have past by and she has nothing to show for it, no exciting are action packed stories, or intoxicating romantic tales. Cate tells herself all of that is about to change when she signs up to study aboard her last semester of college in Italy! However, Italy is 4 months away, and Cate is determined to avoid spending her whole summer in her little small hometown in AL. So Cate plans a Road trip! But when her Road trip is postponed and she is forced to spend 2 months at home, she becomes surprised that she has found something new within her small town. But is this enough to make her stay? Donte has just come home from Military Boot Camp, he has six months until he is deported, he doesn’t know where they plan to send him but he is excited, traveling is one of the reasons he joined the military. When Donte gets the sad news that his aunt has died, he and his parents make an abrupt trip to their hometown in AL. It’s been 10 years since he has been in Alabama, but because of his Aunt’s death his mother has legal obligations there. When he sees Catie-Ann for the first time in 10 years he is certain its love. If only he could make her see that too. He has 4 months to show her how he feels and make her fall in love with him.’ No problem’, Donte thinks, he is great with the ladies, however when Donte learns that Catie-Ann will be leaving for Italy when those 4 months are up, he is heartbroken, and when he learns she will only be in town for 2 months he starts to lose hope. How can she fall for him in only two months she barely even likes him. Donte decides she can’t leave for Italy without her knowing his true feelings. When Donte decides to tell her how he feels, he discovers she is already set to leave for her trip. Is he too late? What is he going to do?
