Ever since Budo was 7 he had a crush on the girl that lived in the house opposite him, Aishi-Chan. He found her mysterious and he was curious to find out more about her. One night, Budo witnessed Ayano's parents leave at night, for good. Budo had always felt bad for Ayano, he had only ever seen her fake a smile. After this night, Budo made a promise to himself that one day, he'd help her find happiness. He wanted to see her smile, for real this time. Budo's father left when he was born, so although he still had his mother, he felt like he understood Ayano. Budo wasn't an idiot either, he could tell that she did feel anything on the inside - and he wanted to change that. Can Budo make Ayano happy? What will happen between them?
