Life with high grades, a good future, and a supportive mum seems like perfection. And it would be if you glanced over it like girls at my school glance over their work.
Anyway I'm Azalea but my Mum calls me Ace so I guess you could call me that too -the name kind of fits I guess seeing as I'm ace at my school work. Except apparently not with my social life.
And that's what this book is about; the story of me (Azalea) trying to actually become known as more then the-nerd-who-sat-at-the-front-of-the-class before I graduate and leave the shitty town I call home; and right now, I'm a little desperate to actually have a friend and maybe even a boyfriend.
Now that would be ace.
So follow my story as I try to create the fairy tale ending I always dreamed of.

Azalea is a girl dreaming of a big world in a small town; she's always lived life on the outside of everything and she's sick of it. Now with only two years left before she can escape high school, she puts her past behind her and tries to create a happy ending from her high school years by treating herself to a makeover.
Only when her popularity rockets up with her new looks, her personality is stuck on the ground watching. Will she fit in like she's always wanted or will her social life be doomed forever?
