sleeping Ponyboy, it's not only him with the dreams. I realize how people look younger asleep.
Didn't Ponyboy mention something like that before? I wonder if all people look younger, maybe
its just him, maybe not. I realize I'm clenching something in my hand- tightly. I carefully
unclench my hand, just in case. I look down at it, tears fill up in my eyes. Its the necklace lock
heart mom gave to me on my 10th birthday. I carefully put it to the side, as if the necklace its
self are my parents. I rest my head on my pillow, my last thought was of school.
