Charlotte Noxx never had the perfect life. She was bullied and abused by the people at school and her parents are too ‘busy’ to notice. But she didn’t care. She had her best friend, Christopher to help her get through it all. Christopher helped her stopped cutting; he’s her only friend at school. But then Christopher moved to another country and Charlotte was left alone. Every night since he left she would check her phone to see if he called, texted or maybe sent an email. She continued doing this for a year until she just gave up. She gave up trying to call and text him. She changed. She was no longer that sweet and innocent girl that her teachers adore. She turned into that emo girl that pushes everyone out-not like they’d try to anyway. She got involved with the wrong crowd; smoked, got in street fights and even got arrested a few times. 2 years later a new kid arrives and he’s determined to befriend Charlotte no matter how many times she pushes him away.
