Ashlyn reigner and her twin brother are sent to an island to survive a series of tests, games, and challenges. they are from the main island, one of the many island competing in this long event, and are surprised that they were picked for this brutal event. along the way they meet a handsome opponent, Clide Debraille. He is an excellent hunter and is very strong, but has a weak spot for Ashlyn. then comes along a frisky, but rather useful, 14 year old. her name is Addi mulligan. will these new members of the team be helpful, to a burden to the twins?
