Ashes Remain

The world was destroyed by a disease called Phoenix. People who caught the disease would experience a burning sensation on their insides and after about a week they would burst into flames, burning to nothing. My whole family caught the disease. I lived. It changed me though. I now have abilities, inhuman abilities. There are a lot of people that I know of that are like me. We have started searching around the world for survivors. We have no where to come home to though, so we made a home, an academy for the ones who have survived and don't know how to use the powers.
