New York City-the year is 1926 and the threat of the Wizarding World being at war with the humans is still a grave possibility. The people of America will be divided-those with magic and those without.

However, Marion is an exception; after raising up by herself, never knowing where she belonged-Marion's magic became her only friend. Not only is she a witch but also possesses an extreme amount of power being able to cast powerful and forbidden spells not knowing any incantations-all without the use of a wand.

Now a young woman, she feels more lost than ever. Who will she side with if she had to? With the humans who would kill her if they ever found out her secret, or with her fellow witches and wizards, who do not even know that a witch this powerful exists?
