Maxine is a normal, kind, cheerful, 17 year old. Her and her little sister, Luna, live with their parents. Their parents go to Hawaii for vacation, leaving the girls in their mansion in the state of California. On the plane ride back, the plane crashes and takes their lives. Maxine's good health and life takes a bad turn. Mental and Health wise. She gets a sickness no doctor knows how to cure and she also gets cancer as well as depression. Will she ever get well? And will she get to be there for Luna?
