Bailey Chansey, a teenager trying to find herself in this inlove with love world, has to deal with the loss of family. She doesn't realise what shes had until it slips out her fingers and loses all of it. In the midst of it all she has to decide between two - Lawrence Cyndaquil, a witty, sarcastic, emotionally challenged boy who is basically identical to Bailey or Mordecai Latios, the towns bad boy who gives Bailey bad vibes, which draws her in... like any girl, but Bailey sees through his handsome face to see a complete jerk, or is he?

Bailey has to live with all this while dealing with a very dark, tantalising secret she so wants to get out to someone other than her brother.
