Stained Waters

The Great Waves ended life on land, sending human beings scattering under water. Colonies of the evolved formed under the waves, separated by the rifts deep in the ocean floor. Similar to life on land war broke out, separating the Eastern and Western colonies more than any land formation could. Macca grew up in a Western colony, where it was common to lose close colony members to war. Growing up under the water is far different than the dry times before. The idea of some humans still living on land is a tale told to the young and one many outgrow. If only it was true.
