"It's too hard to keep on liking you now that you know my feelings."
The words came out of my mouth. The moment seemed to rush past me. I couldn't even figure out my feelings anymore and the dark starless night accompanied by a half moon just stared down upon us. I didn't know what I was saying anymore.
"I'm sorry, but let's pretend to be strangers if we ever meet again. Thank you for not rejecting my feelings at first, but I'm going to let my selfish feelings go. Well then, bye."
My mind still fuzzy, I turned around and left the confused Taehyung in the dark streets. It wasn't until I turned the street corner that I realized what I had actually said. But I didn't have enough courage to turn back, to see if he left, if he was going to come after me, if anything. Heart speeding, face heating, I sped my way home.
