Cheyenne Klumker's pen pal, Alpha Lucas, treats her like he would his own sister, and offered her a place in his pack. Her new life with Lucas and his family made her feel welcome and happy. That was something her old pack never showed her.
There, in her former pack, they bullied her, made fun of her, called her names, and absolutely hated her. Her own family didn't even seem to show her love and appreciation.
And worst of all, her mate rejected her in front of the whole school.
Cheyenne was devastated when she found out that she had to go see her old family to stay with Lucas and his. She had to visit the place she ran away from, and the pack she never wanted to see or go back to again.
But Guess What?
Cheyenne isn't that weak girl that they knew two years ago. She's changed, into none other than a smoking-hot babe that any guy would drool over. She doesn't take shit from anyone anymore. After training with her new pack, she turned out to be the greatest warrior. She never turned down a fight and never lost one, she has an attitude that most people fear and is very strong.
But was she strong enough to go to her former pack and face the family that rejected her and treated her like nothing but crap?

I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "The one you want isn't mate. He isn't yours. He isn't interested... I want mate!" "No." I block her out and climb down the tree.Complete
