Space Dust (Voltron Fanfic)

"The HELL were you thinking, Lance?! Ejecting your lion into the Galra warship was the dumbest thing you'e done! If it weren't for Allura covering your ass at the last moment, you would've fucking died in there!" yelled Keith Kogane harshly towards the blue paladin, who, by then, thought what he had done was in the right.
"Uhh, Keith, it was me who had cover for him at the last moment." added Hunk beside him, which only earned himself a glare by the hot-headed ravenette. The Yellow Paladin then took a gulp of both his saliva and air before looking down at his gloved fingers with a guilty expression, as if he had deeply insulted them.
"Nevermind that! If you died, then we would lost our way of forming Voltron, and who do you think is going to stop Zarkon from taking over-" the teen's words stopped when he felt cold metal landed ontop his right shoulder. The Black Paladin, with his Galra arm, patting Keith's shoulder seemed to had calmed the Korean male down from killing Lance with those hateful shots of glaring, if only looks could harm his body.
"Keith, Lance hadn't done anything wrong, instead, he'd-" Shiro started, but his sentence was halfway finished before another voice cut in.
"They would've died if it weren't for me crashing into them. They would've blasted to bits. People from our planet would've been striked dead without even knowing what had hit them." said Lance, a deep frown was drawn across his face, as if he had been kicked repeatedly in the stomach. The whole room's presence became tense, and all of the paladins' faces dropped. All of them, including Keith, couldn't deny the fact that whatever Lance had say, was true. Shiro took a glance at the occupied healing pods, each three of them consists of other human residents, taking their time to recover from their injuries. It would be a matter of seconds now, as Allura has spoken, until the three astronauts' awakening......
