When the student never gets off the train the Vice Chancellor pulls out all the stops in his attempt to locate the truant student. Priti no sooner comes to grips with the fact that she is actually attending classes in witchcraft, than she suddenly finds out her classes are not teaching any witchcraft at all. On top of this, she and her sister witches are the only ones who have figured out that the prophecy refers to Priti, not a sorcery student at all! The conspiracy against witches revealed, Priti sets out to right all wrongs, hampered only slightly by the Vice Chancellor's repeated attempts to murder her. In 'Profs and Prophecy' there is no easy way out for Priti. No handsome prince will arrive to save her at the last minute. No mysterious magical force will destroy the bad guy just because he's evil, leaving her unscathed just because she's not. Luck just doesn't work that way for Priti!
